Some new Thor Love and Thunder skins have been added to Fortnite, tying in with the brand new MCU film.
Thor: Love and Thunder is the latest film in the MCU. It follows Chris Hemsworth as Thor, who is on a quest to find inner peace. On his journey, he encounters Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of all gods.
The film stars Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman and Russell Crowe. It also features the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Korg played by director Taiki Waititi.
The film is receiving mixed reviews, but that certainly won’t stop Fortnite from doing yet another collab with the MCU. Predictably, some Thor skins have entered the famous battle royale game, adding to a long list of comic book crossovers.
Gods of Thunder
Fortnite players will be able to duke it out as Thor Odinson himself, or Mighty Thor – played by Natalie Portman in the film. The skins look pretty cool, especially if you’re a fan of the thunder wielding hero. It’s safe to say this will probably be a pretty popular choice among players.
Players can purchase the Gods of Thunder Pack, which includes Outfits for both characters, two Back Blings, two Pickaxes, an Emote, two Gliders, and a special Loading Screen for 2,500 V-Bucks. And whenever players get an elimination, the Outfits become electrified in typical Thor fashion.
The film itself is receiving some very mixed reviews from critics, but it’s still primed to be one of the biggest releases this year. It’s out this weekend, and it’s sure to be one of the biggest films of the summer. And after Thor: Ragnarok, it has a lot to live up to.
