PewDiePie Visited By Police After Buying Illegal Item From Wish

PewDiePie was visited by the police recently after purchasing an illegal item on the online website Wish.

PewDiePie, who has the most YouTube subscribers for any independent creator, has made videos on pretty much everything at this point. His latest video showed him purchasing some items from the popular online store Wish.

The site has a bit of a reputation for selling knock-offs and weird items, but PewDiePie got into trouble for buying something very specific.

What Did He Buy?

One of his purchases included a “balisong”, otherwise known as a butterfly knife. However, this is actually an illegal online purchase. The item isn’t actually prohibited from sale on the website. Regardless, police ended up visiting him after he made the purchase.

PewDiePie explained what happened, saying “I had the great idea of trying to buy a balisong, because I like them. They’re fun to play with. It’s awesome. Well, don’t do that. Do not buy a balisong.

The cops came to my house and they told me I was bad and I shouldn’t have done that,” he said, “So, I am sorry. Ya boy’s got a criminal record! Let’s go!

He then replaced the balisong purchase with some less potentially-deadly toys, but it seems the situation did stress him out a fair bit. I don’t blame him.
