New ‘The Mandalorian’ season 3 trailer sees Din Djarin attempting to reclaim his honour

A new trailer for The Mandalorian season three has dropped. The new-look teaser features Jedi and a trip to Mandalore. It’s also the first look at some of the forthcoming threats featured in the latest Star Wars series.

The teaser for the latest installation of The Mandalorian story premiered during an NFL Super Wild Card game on Monday evening via ESPN and ABC Network.

Opening with the words, “Our people are scattered like stars in the galaxy,” the trailer picks up with bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) being reunited with his tiny friend Grogu. The latte is exhibiting some serious Force powers.

In the teaser, we also get a look at Mandalorian home planet Mandalore. This is where Din and Grogu are travelling to in order to restore the bounty hunter’s honour.

Elsewhere, we also get a glimpse of planet Coruscant and a pair of Anzellan creatures.

The third season of John Favreau’s Mandalorian will take place following the events of The Book of Boba Fett.

It sees actors Katee Sackhoff, Giancarlo Esposito and Carl Weathers reprising their roles as Bo-Katan, Moff Gideon and Greef Karga, respectively.

Excitingly, Variety also reports that Book of Boba Fett stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will be appearing in The Mandalorian season three.

Alongside Favreau, David Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Rick Famuyiwa are all credited as executive producers on the show. Lucasfilm is producing the series while the Greek Karga actor will also be directing an episode.

The Mandalorian season three will premiere via Disney+ on March 1. However, you can watch the new teaser trailer below.
